Rovi is the seventh London restaurant by chef and author Yotam Ottolenghi. Just like acclaimed Nopi, and his eponymous sites, the menu is veggie-centric but the Fitzrovia site sets itself apart by exploring grilling and fermenting techniques. This has resulted in praised dishes like crumpet lobster with kumquat and chilli sauce and squid and lardo skewers with fennel salad. The décor is stripped back, bright and modern but has successfully created a different character than the chef’s other locations, allowing the food to completely take the centre stage.
